Getac provided a mobile office in our car
Our new partner Getac provides indestructible laptops since 1989, and is today a leader in rugged computing solutions for demanding professionals in extreme environments. Their products are surviving drops, shocks, heavy rain, vibration, and dust without any problem. We could even drive over it with our expedition car, and it still would work!
As a global organization, they believe the promotion of sustainability must be linked to the intrinsic core values of technology to maximize benefits and thereby meet the expectations of customers. This is why they became partner of our expedition. We will use their V110 in-car solution as office laptop, but also to gather data from the charging unit and car.
Getac works together with GamberJohnson when it comes to rugged vehicle dockings, and so they offered us a mounting system as well.
Thanks to the connectivity options of the total computing solution, during driving one of us can write blogs, edit pictures, or can be online for video calls while sitting comfortably in the car.
